Shop Manager
Position is full time with alternating or rotating Saturdays required. Westchester Tool Rentals offers excellent employee benefits such as paid vacation, holiday, personal and sick leave, health insurance, matched 401K, performance bonuses and more. You must be computer literate with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar environment. This is a diverse position and flexibility is a must to the demands of a busy shop and a large vehicle fleet.
Some of your responsibilities as the shop manager will be to oversee the repair shop and the parts & service departments as well as to:
- Write service tickets and customer tickets
- Process work orders and bill out
- Delegate Repairs
- Review Parts Requests
- Track mechanics time vs billable time
- Evaluate equipment and vehicles & repair as needed
- Execute maintenance campaign
- Help order parts
- Coordinate preventive maintenance with rental counter
- Oversee cleanliness of yard, shop and fleet
- Run profit and loss statement for shop
- Develop a marketing program
- Coordinate work schedule
- Coordinate rentals with counter – Pull & Ready
- Assist in managing parts inventory – min/max
- Design pricing structure for parts, labor retail/wholesale
- Oversee basic building maintenance
Yardman/Service/Labor
Diversified duties, heavy lifting, mechanical knowledge & forklift a plus, will train. Good pay with overtime. Drivers license a plus but not needed, excellent career opportunity. Hours are: Mon thru Sat.

Mechanics Helper
Perfect for the mechanically inclined. Service equipment, assist with minor repairs, demo rentals for customers, Help load and unload, maintain yard and shop. Bi-lingual a plus. Drivers license a plus but not needed, excellent career opportunity. Hours are: Mon thru Sat.
